Founded in New Hampshire, our mission is to provide compassionate, non-medical home care that supports seniors in living safely, comfortably, and with dignity—right where they belong: at home.
The inspiration behind Roots Empower is deeply personal. After witnessing the challenges of caring for my own loved ones as they aged—navigating healthcare systems, juggling work and family, and trying to ensure they felt seen and respected—I knew there had to be a better way. That experience sparked a passion to create a service rooted in empathy, professionalism, and empowerment.
We serve the southern and central New Hampshire communities with a team of trained, trusted caregivers who offer personal care, companionship, homemaking, and errand support. Whether it’s helping with daily routines or simply being a comforting presence, we’re here to lighten the load for both seniors and their families.

With years of hands-on experience in both home care and long-term care facilities, I’ve seen how isolating chronic illness can be—not just for the person experiencing it, but for the entire family. I started this agency to do things differently: to offer more than just support, but a sense of connection, comfort, and real presence.
We understand how hard it is to trust someone with your loved one’s care. That’s why we go out of our way to make sure it doesn’t feel like you’re handing them over to strangers—but to extended family who will love and honor them as their own.
Because we know that having roots at home doesn’t just offer safety—it empowers them. It allows them to face each day with dignity, to feel valued, and to live life on their own terms. And that’s the kind of care we’re proud to give.
A Message from the Founder
My journey into caregiving started long before I ever entered the healthcare field. I was just 13 when my grandmother—who had spent her life caring for others as a registered nurse—was diagnosed with dementia.
Watching her disappear before my eyes was heartbreaking. We did everything we could to care for her at home, but eventually had to place her in a nursing facility because we simply couldn’t afford the in-home support she needed.
That experience never left me.
Over the years, working in healthcare, I’ve seen so many families struggle with the same impossible choices—juggling love, guilt, exhaustion, and finances. I know how hard it is to ask for help. I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with someone you love.
That’s why I founded Roots Empower to give families like mine real options.
Great care starts with personalized care. No two families are the same, and their support shouldn’t be either. That’s where flexibility, compassion, and trust come in. I’ve given this company my heart, because no family should have to decide their loved one’s future based solely on finances.
